Tamariki

Kura Rātapu

During the school term, Kura Rātapu is our offering for tāmariki, mokopuna, and rangatahi – providing them with their own space for fun and growth. If you have young people who would be keen to get connected with the group, please reach out via email so we can connect you with Whaea Ele, who runs our kids’ church programme: office@temihana.org.nz.

Ele Reihana – Kura Rātapu Co-ordinator

Our wonderful Whaea Ele curates a weekly space where tamariki not only learn about Christ but encounter His love. Her passion is not just to teach—but to nurture, to guide, and to see young lives flourish. Reach out to Whaea Ele here: office@temihana.org.nz.

“Jesus says let the children come to
me. He loves kids and I love seeing our tamariki keen to come to church and be in the ‘kids space’. My hope and prayer is that they come to know Jesus as their best friend and Lord!” – Whaea Ele

When I’m rostered on to help lead kids ministry, those are some of my most favourite Sundays of all. Stories, craft, music, fun, and loads of giggles. The cutest tamariki, their joy is infectious.
