Today we celebrate a truly special milestone - the 80th birthday of our beloved Whaea Ngarangi Īhaka 🎉⁠⁠Whaea Ngarangi, our putiputi from Te Araroa, we are grateful for the way your life has been such a beautiful expression of aroha, faith, and service. ⁠⁠Since the foundation of Te Mīhana (under Sir Kīngi Īhaka’s leadership), you have faithfully supported our church and wider community in so many ways - including your service in governance, your contribution to our sung worship and reading teams, your care for the church décor through polishing the brass and maintaining our cross-stitch embroidery, your delicious treats in hospitality, and the countless ways you make each person feel seen, welcomed, and valued.⁠⁠Your presence is a taonga to us all. You remind us what it means to serve with humility, to love generously, and to uplift others in the name of Christ.⁠⁠On this special day, we give thanks to God for your life, your witness, and your unwavering commitment to our whānau.⁠⁠Hari huritau, Whaea Ngarangi - may you be richly blessed with joy, peace, and continued strength in the years ahead. We love and honour you always ❤️.

Free parking around the whare, and a kapu tī to follow after each service.⁠⁠Please note there will be no Kura Rātapu (Sunday School) at this service given the School Holiday.
