10:30am Family Service

Our weekly contemporary whānau service:

This service celebrates our Anglican tradition while also embracing contemporary and creative worship forms. The Eucharist (communion) is shared, and a space of karakia (prayer) is opened for those who would like to receive.

Service Info

The service comes from Mihingare karakia (Māori Anglican prayers) and is primarily conducted in te reo Māori. An English translation is always available to be inclusive of all reo Māori abilities.

Kids - Sunday School

Our Sunday School runs every Sunday (during term time) so your children will have a space to have fun, connect with other tāmariki, and encounter God. See our kids page for more info.

Refreshments

After the service, join us for a cup of tea and light refreshments next door in Tātai Hono Marae. We’d love to connect more there.

Parking

On Sundays, free parking is available in the carpark surrounding the church and marae.

Live Stream

For those unable to make it in-person, this service is also live-streamed weekly.

I find this church a place of warmth and welcome. It’s not just the beautiful 10:30am service, it’s the cup of tea and kai afterwards, the warm hugs and greetings, the sense of belonging and being seen and accepted.

Kirstin Fleming (Pākehā),
Congregant

8:30am Traditional Service

Haere mai, haere – join us on Sunday morning.

“I serve at the 8:30am Service – where the Word of God is shared in a deeply sensitive and personal environment. My passion is helping in the first instance, to connect the lost and vulnerable to God and to their whakapapa, so their healing can begin in earnest.”
Rev’d Jenny Quince (Ngāpuhi),
Minister
“I love the 8:30am service.  For me, being in the Lady Chapel is very intimate and I’ve always felt I’m being wrapped in an armful of aroha by the Ministers and everyone there feels like whānau.”
Valma Tapene (Kuia),
Congregant

6:30pm Pō Karakia

Our monthly charismatic evening service (first Sunday of each month):

This service is a place for whānau wanting to worship in a more contemporary way – including extended times of worship and a more informal liturgy.

Service Info

This service features both te reo Māori and English karakia. The sung worship is more contemporary in style, supported by Te Rautini some evenings.

Refreshments

After the service, join us for a cup of tea and light refreshments next door in Tātai Hono Marae. We’d love to connect more there.

Parking

On Sundays, free parking is available in the carpark surrounding the church and marae.

Haere mai, haere – join us on Sunday evening.

We are seeking to build a community that desires to meet with God through worship, scripture, prayer and each other, while uplifting te reo Māori and embracing our whakapapa Mihinare.
